Q: Are the Goyles Demons?

A: No, the Goyles are adorable, magical, playful, sexy and sweet architectural statues come to life. To quote Cardealia: I’m just a Goyle trying to make it in this crazy town! Plus, you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover! We Goyles are sweet as rock candy!

Q: What are the Goyles here for?

A: The Goyles are here to bring players luck. They are the guardians of great Vegas action and times!

Q: What are the Goyles made of?

A: There are many theories, but J. Walter Chadsmith (Prof. Jim), Professor of Architectural History at UNLV and self proclaimed Goyle expert, believes they are “living stone”. He has conducted several experiments at the Palace of Gaming to search for and understand the Goyles. He has only a couple of fuzzy and unclear digital images of what he claims prove the Goyles’ existence, but no other experts can confirm what these images are of. The only real shred of evidence he has is a single red hair-like copper alloy strand; that has a human like cell structure, but is entirely made up of mineral content. Unbeknownst to Prof. Jim, the Goyles do become flesh and blood girls on Nevada Day!

Q: What are the Goyles magical powers?

A: Besides bringing players luck, they can pass through the walls in the Palace of Gaming in a flash and manifest anywhere in the structure. They learn to control this power as they get older. Goyles with fully developed wings can fly for great distances. Goyles are also invisible to most people, except for only true lovers of Vegas action!

Q: Do each one of the Goyles have their own specific powers?

A: Yes, they are very lucky at all games of chance, yet each Goyle can give the greatest luck to a player of her certain game. Each one has additional powers based on her personality and as a Goyle gets older she becomes more incredibly powerful.

Q: What are Cardealia's Powers?

A: Being the oldest, Cardealia’s powers seem limitless. She can manifest herself anywhere and move any object in the Palace of Gaming. She can create “Mini Goyles” like Jacky Cat. She also has the intoxicating power to charm over any man. For each man she encounters, she gives off the slight yummy fragrance of his favorite boyhood candy or desert! Cardealia understands her powers well and will not abuse them for she is careful, demure, wise and very much a lady. Her tail, in its original spade form, can extend to incredible lengths. To “suit” her needs, she can turn her tail end into the other card suit symbols as well. The diamond end can cut and pierce through objects. The club end can act as a three fingered hand and grasp and toss objects. The heart end can pry up or hold down objects.

Q: What are Chippy's Powers?

A: She is just starting to learn how to manifest herself over long distances through the Palace of Gaming. Often and comically, she ends up in the wrong room on her first try. As a crutch, she feels that she needs to hold Cardealia’s hand to pass through the Palace of Gaming. She can communicate with animals and get them to help the Goyles when they get into trouble. She is super intuitive, sensitive and can tell if a person is being genuine or dishonest.

Q: What are Dicey's Powers?

A: Being the youngest, her magical powers are still very limited. Her wings are not fully developed; so she cannot fly, except to “fly-hop” for a bit over short distances. She is very athletic and muscular, so she can climb or hang off over anywhere and anything on the Palace of Gaming with ease. She needs Cardealia’s or Chippy’s help to manifest long distances through the walls of the Palace of Gaming, yet can pass through one wall with no trouble. She is very handy and mechanically inclined, so she can fix, hack and/or rebuild any device or machine. When she points her index finger straight up in the air, she can manifest her fuzzy dice. These dice can be thrown at objects and knock down bad guys with ease and then return to her like a boomerang.

Q: What are Jacky's Powers?

A: As a “Mini Goyle”, Jacky can bring a Jackpot to any slot, video poker or gaming machine that she touches. If Jacky curls up and takes a cat nap on a machine; it will hit big payouts over and over! Since she was created by Cardealia’s magical powers, she is able to fly and pass through the Palace of Gaming with ease. Yet, she was not carved as an original Muse of Gaming statue by the great architect Carver Greathue who designed and created the Palace of Gaming. Therefore, she is unable to become a real cat on Nevada Day.
